Project P.I.T.T. on Steam Deck
Project P.I.T.T. is Steam Deck Verified. Check the official status and current-build troubleshooting scope.
Project P.I.T.T. is Steam Deck Verified according to the official launch FAQ. That confirms Valve’s compatibility status, not a detailed guarantee for every control layout or current-build performance condition.
Verified status
The launch FAQ explicitly says the game is Steam Deck Verified. The full-game Steam page also lists SteamOS/Linux system requirements, which is useful platform context but not a replacement for Deck-specific testing.
Controls and troubleshooting
Use the official controls page for named keyboard/mouse actions and treat controller mappings as a release-build check. If performance is the issue, begin with the official Retro Effect, LOW graphics, and resolution advice.
Update discipline
Add Deck-specific quirks only when they can be verified from official sources or a reproducible in-game test. Do not borrow an unsupported configuration from another guide.
Saves and current loading checks
The save guide explains native Linux XDG paths and distinguishes them from a forced Proton build. The performance guide separates the safer-loading change from unresolved community symptoms; no Deck-specific benchmark or guaranteed renderer result is claimed.

A source-check date is not an in-game test date. Historical fixes and community observations retain their stated scope.
